As many countries and individuals around the world face economic challenges, Macedonia and its children are no different. The Orphanage for Infants and Children in Bitola is home to over 120 children ranging in age from newborn to 3 years old.

Established in 1974, the orphanage is in constant need of support, not only for the children’s daily necessities, but also for general upkeep, repair, and upgrades on the facility. UMAD is proud to have supplied the Orphanage with a much-needed industrial washing machine in 2011, and plans to continue its mission to improve the lives and futures of the children and people of Macedonia. Your ongoing support will help us stay true to our humanitarian efforts.
