UMAD Delivers Comfort & Joy at Christmas

Twelve (12) new beds were delivered to the “11th October” Orphanage in Skopje, Macedonia. “UMAD was thrilled to be part of this initiative to help the Skopje orphanage. Our goal this holiday season was to show to these children that someone cares for them, their warmth and happiness,” said UMAD President Tom Bayoff. “It gives us great joy that during this holiday season, these children will be able to sleep in warm, new beds.” The “11th October” Orphanage in Skopje is one of only two Orphanages in the entire country of Macedonia.

Each year UMAD presents Macedonian and Macedonian-American seniors and college students with $1000 scholarship funds to help to defray some of their costs of higher education.  Watch for more information on this years program on this website; our Face Book page; and our LinkedIn media.
